FMG Reptiles
FMG Reptiles is a veteran-owned, family-operated reptile breeding business built on passion, experience, and integrity. With more than 60 years of combined experience in reptiles, amphibians, and exotic animals, co-founders Josh Griffin and David Myers bring a lifetime of knowledge and dedication to their work. Both brothers proudly and honorably served in the United States Army as combat veterans, carrying forward the same discipline, commitment, and sense of responsibility into their business.
Founded in 2021—with the support and blessing of their wives—FMG Reptiles was born from a shared dream to turn a lifelong passion into something meaningful. Having spent years caring for a wide variety of reptiles as pets, Josh and David understand firsthand the needs of both animals and their owners. This insight drives their mission to provide exceptional service, quality products, and a welcoming, customer-focused experience.
At FMG Reptiles, ethical breeding is at the core of everything they do. They are committed to being morally responsible breeders, ensuring that every animal is healthy, well-adjusted, and cared for with the highest standards. Their goal is not just to sell reptiles, but to connect people with pets that will thrive in their homes, while supporting customers with the knowledge and care they need for long-term success.
FMG Reptiles stands as a reflection of family values, military pride, and a deep respect for the animals they raise.

Our Team
Meet the Experts
Josh Griffin
Reptile Specialist
CEO
Josh Griffin, CEO and co‑founder of FMG Reptiles, brings more than 30 years of hands‑on experience with reptiles of every kind. His lifelong passion for herpetology began in the Texas Hill Country and across the southern United States, where he grew up exploring the wild, herping from a young age, and studying a wide range of venomous and non‑venomous reptiles and amphibians.
Before launching FMG Reptiles, Josh worked in numerous pet stores as a reptile and aquatics specialist, helping countless keepers understand proper husbandry, habitat design, and species‑specific care. His deep field experience, combined with decades of captive care, has made him a trusted voice in the reptile community.
Josh also served nearly a decade in the U.S. military, completing multiple combat tours with honorable distinction. The discipline, resilience, and leadership forged during his service now shape the foundation of his business approach.
Drawing on a lifetime of knowledge, fieldwork, and professional experience, Josh teamed up with his brother to create FMG Reptiles — a company built on passion, expertise, and a commitment to responsible reptile stewardship. What began as a childhood fascination has grown into a thriving business dedicated to quality animals, education, and elevating the standards of the reptile industry.

David Myers
Animal Care Specilist
COO
David Myers is the Chief Operating Officer of FMG Reptiles, bringing more than 30 years of hands-on experience working with reptiles of all types. His passion began at a young age, growing up in the Mississippi Valley region of Iowa and the broader Midwest, where he spent countless hours herping in the wild and developing a deep appreciation for reptiles and amphibians. Over the years, he has kept and studied a wide range of species—both venomous and non-venomous—along with other exotic animals, building a strong foundation of practical knowledge and respect for wildlife.
In addition to his work with animals, David served nearly two decades in the United States military, completing multiple combat tours and earning an honorable record of service. The discipline, resilience, and leadership he developed during his military career continue to shape his approach to business and animal care.
Combining a lifelong passion with decades of experience, David co-founded FMG Reptiles with his brother to turn that dedication into something greater. Today, he plays a key role in ensuring the operation maintains high standards of care, ethical breeding practices, and a commitment to providing healthy, well-adjusted animals to customers.
